There are many varied gatherings for women in the church. Once a fortnight there are groups which meet at different times and places, to suit us all! Our aim is to grow in our love for God through meeting him in his Word.
Each group meets in an informal setting and seeks to encourage the group to consider who God is and how he wants us to live our lives. For more information about any of these groups contact firstname.lastname@example.org or phone the church office on 0141 332 2795.
Monday morning Bible studies are for the more senior women in the congregation. It is a great way to start the week, gathering together to study God’s word. Each study is followed by a simple lunch and is a great time to get to know one another and encourage each other. The group meets at 10.45am for coffee, has a Bible study and then lunch. Lunch finishes around 1pm.
On Thursday morning a Bible study for ladies also meets in someone’s home in Crookston. It meets every second week and all are welcome.
Friday morning Bible studies are an opportunity for women to meet and study a book of the Bible together and have the added bonus of having a crèche available for mothers and carers. The group meets from 10am - 11.30am. Books studied in the past include Hebrews, Esther, Joshua and Romans.
The Ladies' Fellowship is on the first and third Monday of the month. The ladies meet from approximately 2pm till 3.30pm. It is a great time for people to be encouraged as Christians, built up in God’s word and cared for. It is great fun and anyone is welcome to come along. Visiting speakers come from all walks of life: mission organisations, church workers, fellow church members and former missionaries.
