Mission around the World

St George's-Tron has links with people and churches all over the world and the international students who attend our services also widen our perspective.

Some of us help out in summer missions in all kinds of places. Many of us are involved with organisations that are taking the gospel, often in very practical ways, to the developing world.

Here's a little about some church members and associates who are working in other parts of the world.

John and Elspeth Taylor

  • work with OMF in Japan, in church planting in Sendai in the north-east of the country
  • Elspeth teaches, encourages and disciples the ladies in the church and helps with the English evangelistic outreach

Scott and Nok Murray

  • work with OMF in central Thailand
  • Scott is a surgeon who works at the local government hospital in Chainat. He also takes part in surgical camps in surrounding countries and preaches regularly at the local church in Manorom.
  • Nok's main responsibilities are home-schooling the boys, teaching in Sunday school and also teaching English.
  • Scott and Nok have three children: Cara, Shane and Ray

Ralph and Ailsa Martin

have just retired from many years' service in Hokkaido, north Japan where most recently Ralph lectured at Hokkaido Bible Institute and helped with preaching in local churches, and Ailsa was OMF's medical advisor in Japan
