Prayer Meetings

It is impossible to live as a Christian without praying to God our Maker and Redeemer. And it is a great encouragement and expression of our unity as a body of God's people to meet to pray together. So every 2 weeks we meet to pray together for our members working around the world and in the UK, for the growth of God's kingdom, and for the needs of our brothers and sisters in Glasgow and further afield.

Where? Church Halls, 25 Bath Street (show map)
When?

7:30pm
Fortnightly, 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month. (check calendar)

What do we do? We start with a song, then someone leads us in prayer and prepares us to pray with a reading and explanation of the Bible. Then we discuss news and issues for prayer and pray!

Everyone is welcome - teenager, octagenarian or somewhere in between. If you are new to the church coming to the prayer meeting is an excellent way to get involved in the real work of the church. There is no pressure to pray aloud, but different people will pray as God leads them and we all pray silently in our hearts with them.

Other midweek meetings:

  • City-wide small groups
  • Release the Word (students & young workers)
