Getting Involved — How can I help?
Church is a family, but quite a big one. And for a family to work well, everyone's involved. So in church for everyone's benefit and for everything to run smoothly, we all need to serve each other. And in serving each other we normally get to know others in the church better and settle in best. So especially if you're fairly new, here are a few ideas of areas we could use some help.

Orchestra
Do you play a musical instrument reasonably well? Then you might be just the person to join our small orchestra for Sunday services. We meet an hour before the evening service (5.30) to rehearse. Contact Bob for more information. The orchestra takes a break in the summer (July-September) while many are away. |

Food
Many events require catering - whether midweek Christianity Explored, Release the Word, or special Saturday events. This is a vital task and much appreciated by those you're feeding! Men and women of all ages can be very helpful. There's often lots of fun to be had. Contact the church office if you think you could help some times. |
CD/Book Sales
We have a book stall every Sunday evening and a CD sales & order point at every service. We need help to run these. It's quite easy and you're only on duty once a month. Contact the church office if you're interested. |

Audiovisual / Technical
We need reliable, slightly techically-minded people to help manage the sound mixing, video projection and recording for each service. We also need people who can help produce CDs during the week, either on an evening or during the day. When you join a team you'll be shown what to do. Folding / Collating
Every Friday morning teams help fold material to be given out on a Sunday. Sometimes we need extra help with other items. Contact the church office if you would like to find out more. |

Design & Publishing
We could do with some help designing materials for print, to make sure they look neat and professional. We also need people to help with proof-reading. Contact the church office if you're interested. |
Setting up Sunday School
We need help setting up Sunday School each Sunday morning before church. Contact Agnes if you think you could help. |
