Dr Philip has been minister of St George's-Tron since August 2004 when he moved from London where he was for 5 years Director of Ministry with The Proclamation Trust, working with ministers, teaching those training for ministry in the Cornhill Training Course, and overseeing a varied programme of conferences. Before that he served in ministry positions in Aberdeen, where prior to ordination, he read medicine at Aberdeen University, and trained in cardiology at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
He is married to Rebecca, and they have two daughters. |

Edward joined St George’s-Tron in 2005 when he took up his full-time position as Director of the Cornhill Training Course in Scotland. He serves as an honorary Associate Minister, sharing in preaching and teaching within the congregation. Edward was formerly vicar of St Peter’s Church, Stapenhill in Derbyshire.
He is married to Catherine, and they have 4 children. |

Bob Fyall
Bob joined the preaching team at SGT in 2007 when he moved from Edinburgh to work alongside Edward full-time as Senior Tutor in Ministry at Cornhill Scotland. He was appointed as honorary Associate Minister in the church, and welcomed into Glasgow Presbytery. Bob was formerly Director of Rutherford House in Edinburgh, where he moved after many years ministering in Durham in a dual role of Lecturing in Old Testament at Cranmer Hall and pastoring Claypath Church (now Christ Church), a flourishing student ministry.
He is married to Thelma, and they have 2 children |

Rev Robin Brough
Rev Robin Brough was appointed Minister for Pastoral Care in July 2002. Previously he was minister of Brucefield Church in Whitburn, West Lothian, for twenty-five years. Robin is married to Retta. |

After working for Ernst & Young for nearly 30 years, Alison began as church administrator in 2000. She had seen a whole generation of children through Sunday School before that. Alison's the face behind info@thetron.org and an ever-ready fount of wisdom and knowledge about church life. |

William Bradford, Church Officer
Billy has looked after the fabric of the buildings for 29 years. He is especially excited about the redevelopment of the main church building, which will bring us up to date in our modern world, and make cleaning a lot easier!
He is married to Anne and has two sons. |
Epaphras Trust Workers
Working closely with our congregation are staff of the Epaphras Trust who focus on evangelism, particularly in the city centre of Glasgow.

Alex Bedford was a professional motorcycle racer and owned a motorcycle business in Derby. He first began to believe in Jesus in 1994 and then went on a Cornhill Training Course from 1996 to 1997. For the next three years he was a part-time parish assistant at St Peter's Church in Burton-on-Trent (where Edward Lobb was minister). Before coming to Glasgow in 2002 he completed a Diploma in Theological and Pastoral studies at Oak Hill College in London.
Alex is married to Catherine, and works as an evangelist with the Trust. |

Agnes Brough studied law at Cambridge and worked in the Lord Chancellor's Department for 8 years. Then she trained as a teacher and taught in a London Primary school. She completed a year on a Cornhill Training Course in London, then moved back north to join the Epaphras Trust in 2003. Agnes ministers particularly among women, and young people. |

Euan joined the ET staff in 2007 after completing the Cornhill Training Course in Scotland. He trained as a doctor, and was working in pediatrics, which he left in order to pursue training for full-time ministry. He works particularly among internationals working or studying in Glasgow, and leads a team of people offering hospitality, friendship, English language study and opportunities to learn about Jesus.
Euan is married to Helen whom he met while they studied together at Cornhill. |

Brian also joined the ET staff in 2007 following completing the Cornhill Training Course in Scotland with Euan. Having worked in finance and television in both London and Glasgow, Brian likewise wanted to pursue training with a view to full-time ministry. He joined the team as an evangelist, keen to use every opportunity to witness to Christ among those who work and live in the city centre.
Brian is married to Caroline, and they have three young children. |
