Our redevelopment project is about people.
God’s people doing God’s work for the benefit of the people of God – young and old; saints and seekers; but especially in a mission to the unbelieving in Glasgow.
To meet this mission every area of our commitment must be complete. This includes the building which God has given us as a base of mission operations.
It is God who has ultimately overseen the redevelopment, renovation and renewal of the whole area around our premises over recent years. This is not because he is interested in the retail habits of the people of Glasgow, but because he wants them to come to know him! God has engineered a massively improved “pitch” for us in Buchanan Street, right at the centre of this hedonistic, materialistic marketplace. And we must seek to maximise this for His glory.
We are at a new axis in the City and are seeing an ever increasing number of people pass our door. Won’t it be great to be even more encouraging and welcoming, and present a facility that can support the present work and see it grow and develop into the future?
The Vision:
- To see unbelieving people trust in Christ and know him
- To deliver a more effective witness to Glasgow City Centre
- To meet the needs of those around us by multiplying gospel ministries
- To take what God has provided and maximise this for His glory
- To provide a firm foundation for the future of the ministry at St George’s-Tron
